Even seems to work okay on my iPad 1. Very cool!
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

interesting, I think I will buy this.
thanks for the heads up.

Ridiculous. $15

I am spoiled. It's releases like this that make me love my iPad that much more. This thing is every bit as exciting as the Nave release. What a monster. Yeah, times are good for iOS synth fans. I have already surpassed my PC synth collection.

Does it have External Midi sync?

• MIDI in - play Thor from an external MIDI source or from another app on the same iPad

Doesn't specify sync. The midi options are sparse. You have choice of source and channel. In Source, you can pick All, None, or Network Session 1 and that's it.

rebirth does, do you have anyway to test ? it would be dumb to add a step sequencer that cannot sync to anything.

Tested with StepPolyArp. The sequencer syncs with it. Don't know about an external to iPad source, but the StepPolyArp showed up as a device in options when I started it up.

Ahhh, playing with the built in step sequencer. The way they have implemented the knob controls is pretty cool. Grab a knob and a vertical line pulls up with a connector line from the knob that moves up and down as you turn the knob and makes for the easiest visual reference since the knobs are bare and unlabeled on the sequencer. Really hard to describe it accurately, but you have to see yourself. They put a lot of thought into this one.

Definitely picking this up tonight!

this is SO well done. I love the strum latch thing and the per button context controllers. I never comment on even my most favorite synths but this one just feels so workable. Really love it. This for me is the top of the top along with Nave and Animoog.

---Well crap!!! I got Nave and Galileo and though that they would replace all of my other million music apps and then this came along! Why did they have to do this to us? I bought it and now I have to figure out which one to use live, Nave or Thor....I hate to say it but right now Thor seems to have the edge.
Some of Thor's patches broke up in my iPad 2 but the other million they gave us work great. Argh!!!
p.s.- I told my wife that Nave was it when she asked me how we could afford groceries or apps...Oops!
