So I moved from FL Studio to Ableton Live on my Mac. I had a bunch of presets that were saved in FL Studios native format for Synth 1. I imported them to FXP but I can't figure out how to import them to Synth 1 on Ableton. I click on 'Opt' and select the folder but it still doesn't work.

Synth1 can not directly open fxp files. You need to use a vst host; in your case this is Ableton. If you look at the device of the Synth1 plugin in the track you will notice a folder icon left of the selected patch name. Click it to open the fxp file.

Tried that. The FXP files remain greyed out even after clicking on the folder icon on the device screen. Using 8.2.6. Is there any walk around for this? Perhaps saving all FXP's to sy1 files?
