Fx layer question...

I had two plugins side by side (serial) and it was great
Then I combined them into an effects layer container , in order to save and it as a preset , and it completely changed the sound. (Everything went dull)
Is that normal ? I guess the effects in layer work in parallel? I'll do some experiments later to work it out.
Also noticed that the wet/dry mix tends to make phasing and short delay effect with some plugins , as if the Plugin latency isn't quite correct in this fx container situation...

confirmed.
when there is device processing latency in inspector, fx layer wet/dry knob give me delayed sound.
