Hey Hepcats,
I was playing my Epiphone Valve Junior amp just crushing on the sound and I thought, this only cost me $100.00. So completely totally worth it! And it really puts things in their place when it comes to value - I mean compared to my $210.00 wah pedal which I used very occasionally which I really like, still the amp is really lurve.
Well what 'piece de geare' did you get for a steal. I mean I got deals and some things I made a small wad of cash off, but for real favored pieces, what it be yo? Thanks for participating and please excuse my use of excessive underenglishisized argot.

Can't say I'm actually interested in anything. It passes the time.

Best piece of gear I ever got for the price was the 70s Les Paul Custom I bought for a couple of hundred bucks. It basically ended up in the hands of a guy who didn't want it but needed cash quickly and said he knew it was worth much more, but he needed a couple of hundred dollars immediately and if I went to the ATM and got cash it was mine before he looked for another buyer. He basically inherited it when a friend of his decided to throw out everything that a former flatmate had left in his apartment and said "You want it? It's yours" to anything he just wanted out of the way.

Is that cause you're a fine programmer? I used 'Junction' for years until JamOrigin came out with MidiGuitar. Have you updated that app. I need to head over your way and check out the offerings again. But I think your stuff rocks.RunBeerRun wrote:Can't say I'm actually interested in anything. I'm not a programmer, using Synthedit is essentially the same as creating a preset in a synth, it just has the ability to compile. I really hate when people point out my stuff and I didn't bring it up. And when I do bring it up and it's asked for, it's "spam". Thanks, glad I have a place to exist at.kaeila wrote:Is that cause you're a fine programmer?

I think runbeer was having a bad day - I have used his pluggies for years and think he's what the net is all about - sharing - but the artist doesn't own the interpretation of their own works - that is a fact - once you create, or give birth, maybe you can control the life of your work for awhile, but sooner or later it goes where it will and people use it how they desire. I know Junction was the first vst audio-midi tracker that actually worked for me. I think there's money there, especially if it tracks say in a seven octave range and polyphonic. Anyway, thanks runbeerrun, I am proud you replied on my thread.

i got a Juno 60 recently: an intern at my work had it after her and her ex split up. he never came back to get it, so I was the lucky recipient.
I also have an old Harmony arch top that I got for $30 in a junk shop.
