I dont know any other programs that can do what this can, but i hate how buggy it is. Anyone else have crashing issues? why does it do this? anything complex i make it crashes. Im using the NF_plugins too which are built for it.
Why does energyXT crash all the time?

Every time i build something awesome in this it crashes. Right now whenever i turn these 2 particular midi controller knobs one after another it crashes. I move all other 15 knobs and it works fine.
I dont know any other programs that can do what this can, but i hate how buggy it is. Anyone else have crashing issues? why does it do this? anything complex i make it crashes. Im using the NF_plugins too which are built for it.

Why don't you use less buggy plugins? It's definitive not eXTs fault. Nobody says the NicFit plugs are build for eXT. And as I remember, I deleted them after the first usage, because they crash all my DAWs in the past.

@fanta1: I think NicFit's plugins were originally built (mainly) for use with energyXT...

But this was energyXT 1.4 and as far as I can tell, not many of them are very stable in more modern hosts.
But yes, also in my experience energyXT itself doesn't crash very often when used with stable VST's.

I don't think my EnergyXT has crashed in over a year. I'm using more automation these days too. I could really use a 64-bit release for some of my more recent plugins
