Actually it wasn't deliberate - I just don't use that feature so didn't notice some background audio/midi colour selections seem to disable it. Anyway I have modified the skins to re-enable it but if you want stronger colours you will need to reduce the transparency too for those two settings (maybe raise it to 50% or more) as I still prefer it toned down myself.

Why isn't there a sticky post that contains all of these schemes? I had been looking for new themes for some time and just happened to stumble onto the ones located here.

select the color from the properties panel at the bottom of the screen.

Updated again as I noticed in the new preset browser it wasn't possible to easily see highlighted presets as the selected colour was the same as the background. Also re-enabled colour coding for audio and midi clips (still kept fairly subdued - if you want stronger colours you will need to ramp up the saturation for the audio and midi clip colours but I didn't want lots of colour in this theme).
