i am new to xt and watched a video on loops in xt and noticed that you can highlight one small part of a track and then you can copy it right next to it. what key commands are those?

thank you. i was of aware of that command, but what i meant was, in the xt video on loops ( it's on the energy xt channel from a few years ago.) the person somehow (it's not explained.) highlights a couple of beats, then copies them right next to the original beat. that'a what i was trying to figure out. i want to glitch up and create stutter beats without having to duplicate the whole loop.

Try Control-Shift D (it's called Append in the shortcut list under -Edit-)
It can make some cool stutter FX's if you first cut the loop
up and make room between the individual pieces
and then use Control-Shift D
Cheers
