Wow, this is so awesome! I have Push and love it for use with Numerology and Logic and I think that now I'm definitely going to save up for Bitwig rather than upgrading my Live 8 to #9.

Im saving up now for push! Cant wait...
One question... I see in device navigation that when you hold shift+arrow key that you skip devices by 8!!!
Is that also possible for tracks?

Hello for all!
Guys please help me!
When I press delete button on Push (Bitwig connected) with this script - sometimes it deletes track and sometimes it delete not track but clip.
What do i wrong?
How can I select if I wish delete track or clip if I want?
I mean only using Push, not computer keyboard.
Cant find it((
Thank you!

Yes, that's bad. It deletes what currently is in focus (like pressing the delete button on the keyboard). I already requested to have individual delete methods in the API. Until then better do not use it.bomberstonecold wrote:Hello for all!

Hey I've got a couple questions after watching those videos:
-For the note sequencer, does the note layout adhere to the scale that's selected in the play mode? So if I want all the notes available that aren't in key (full chromatic), the sequencer can do that too? It would be cool to have a mono sequencing mode like the old hardware where you click a step for it to be on and then a knob turns to the pitch that you want. You could also have a knob for note length and velocity.
-Is there a mode to see the keyboard layout more like a keyboard look? I might be imagining but I thought there was an ableton mode (maybe in a different script) that laid out the buttons where every 2 rows represents the keyboard with the button row showing the white keys (C to C) and the upper row showing the black keys (maybe as a blue light or something). So for example put the C# and D# above the D and respectively and the F#/G#/A# above the G/A/B respectively. And then have a new octave every two rows, so 4 in total. Although this may not be ideal for all playing styles, it would make it so much easier where the keyboard layout is designed logically according to the visual keyboard layout, especially for non melodic stuff, like drum program layouts (think addictive drums or lots of looping programs or Kontakt patch layouts).
Would this be possible (if it's not already done)?

Awesome idea, Attic! But why not a second sequencer for Pitch? And yet a third sequencer for Velocity ("Gate-Pitch-Velocity". Like for example in Numerology). That way you may create really cool poly rhythm grooves that happens between the melodic riff and its accents. A classic modular sequencing technique. It requires that three sequencers can target the same instrument... I just bought Bitwig today (YAY!!!!) so I'm not certain the system would allow that?Echoes in the Attic wrote:It would be cool to have a mono sequencing mode like the old hardware where you click a step for it to be on and then a knob turns to the pitch that you want.
