ARA is pretty cool stuff! Studio One has done a great job, hope to see Bitwig as well!

Two very important features for me! Veeeery! or is it Veryyyy!

INTEGRATED MODULAR SYSTEM that can host VST fx and instruments
and multi-touch environment and I will instantly be a fan!

When is Bitwig 2 due?

Feature request should go to tech supprt http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 9&t=420129

Out of interest, what plugins currently support ARA?

Post

I'm only aware of Melodyne and they actually developed the ARA standard. So one could argue it's only one plugin, but considering the benefits of such a deep integration as in Studio One (and Sonar as well I believe), this would be a BIG one. It just takes the audio editing possibilities to a whole new level, and I mean creative use, not just tinkering with a poor vocal performance.

Id be very, very happy if VST 3 was implemented. But i dont expect it until version 2...

I believe it's not plug-ins but hosts that can support ARA, which is the host integrated melodyne. Currently I think Studio One, Reaper and Sonar? Though there might be others.

I would think both host and plugin would need to implement this technology, otherwise how would it work?

Post

Great if Iris would implement ARA.
