Hi there,
I'm strongly considering buying Bitwig fo my Linux platform. I'm curious what exactly do I get when I buy it. I'll get the current version of the software, obviously, but how many versions does my purchase last? For example when you buy Renoise, you'll get one free updates for one version number. How many updates do I get when buying Bitwig? I haven't found any relevant information on the website.
Thanks,
Kubouch

Bitwig has had like update in mindblowing speed.
Every 1.xx update is free. But you will need to pay for x.00 update . When version 2.0 releases you will have to pay upgrade fee but the updates now like 1.1 and the comming 1.2 have been big for being 1.x updates. They could be like small version releases by itself but you got those free

I would pay more and live with fewer updates because Bitwig gives me the tools to be creative. Nonetheless I think the update policy is quite fair as you just need to pay for major updates... And since old version don't become useless when new major updates arrive, I consider Bitwig to be good deal.
This could be your ad!

Thrilling waiting periods for the next Beta-Update... almost like waiting for new episodes of Breaking Bad... as soon as you observed the new Version, your unstoppable lust for more is kicking in... and you find yourself checking the Forum constantly for new Beta-Versions hoping to find the desired Update...
Everyone knows more than I do...

The stickers in the boxed version are actually really helpful if you use a midi controller.
Bitwig should sell them on their own.
