Quick Tipp: Workaround for Stuck Lights after Shutdown on Launchpad , APC´s etc.

All of us who use a launchpad or a similar Controler know the Problem: When you shut doen Bitwig the Lights on the Grid stay lit.

Decouple the Controllerand then Recouple after shutting Down Bitwig is ome way to fix it, but what when you can´t reach your USB-Cables? Here´s an easy fix:

Open an empty (!!!) Project and switch to that Project-Tab before Shut Down. No need to turn on the Audio Engine on the empty project. It´s just there to shut down the lights on the controller.

If you haven´t saved your Project you´re working on... no worrys... Bitwig will ask you to save every open project where you made changes on.

This IS a known issue with all controllers that have complex light/led setups. Hopefully it will be fixed sooner than later.

From time to time I'm experiencing same problem. And even more: at some point controller is not initialized and lit properly when plugged in another usb port. My solution is periodically delete controller script cache folder.
