What sound packs would you want BWS to have next?

Like the devices thread but for samples and presets and such.
I think a nice, deep, grand or upright piano would be great. With lots of velocity layers and round robin.

Agreed... Pretty much all the "real" instruments people cant quiet make in Bitwig... Synth sounds are limited only by our imagination in modern DAW's, it's the Organic Orchestral, and ethnic stuff we need more of... The stuff we can't emulate.Ogopogo wrote:Like the devices thread but for samples and presets and such.

Its not bitwig who makes the most samplepacks! Most are thirdpartiesPHY6 wrote:None, al I want is a stable program first !

Totally agree, BW should not waste time and money for things where specialised 3rtparty have its core-buisness (and there are also great samples, intruments and fx for free).lem8r wrote:I'd better vote for ability to open popular sampler format files in sampler and drum rack. We all have sample packs with presets for kontakt, ableton, etc.
There is enough to do in BW itself, so they should focus on it and dont dance on all marriages.

Maybe you should more times open it;-)igortudor wrote:

But i agree, its quite stable. Big crashes are rare, but sometimes there are strange functions-lost, so i have to reload the song/BW which is more/less the same as a crash.
MY priority for development:
1. Stability under all (most) cirumstances
2. GUI/Workflow optimisations (implement the most comfartable and fastest ways) for existing functions
3. CPU/HD optimisations
4. New functions
5. Repeat 1-4 several times...
75. Maybe new devices (3rt party-clones)
3625. New content

Yeah, I've got some Live packs, and there's so much stuff out there in that format anyway. Would be nice. Kontakt sounds like a long shot but it would be nice if I didn't have to get the full version and or open a window to tweak stuff.lem8r wrote:I'd better vote for ability to open popular sampler format files in sampler and drum rack.
