VST Limitation Bitwig 8-Track

Bitwig 8-Track seems to allow unlimited VST use in layers and on the master channel even though one of the limitations is that it supposedly only allows two plugins per project. Is this intentional? I'd hate to see my current projects no longer usable after a future update if this were to change.
