I just installed eXT2.7 (with license) on Mint Linux 17.x. It's working with it's own synths, etc. Does eXT on Linux use other plugin formats such as ladspa, vsti, alsa, etc?

Thanks

Jorgen wrote the linux-vst.com page years ago and lists some compatible plugins. However, I was only able to get the MDA Plugin Collection and Freeverb VST to work. Also, some TAL plugins load correctly, which is nice because they have a GUI. Other than that, not much else works.

Believe it or not, using the Windows version of eXT under WINE is more stable and versatile than the native Linux version, so you might want to consider that. I use eXT under WINE and it supports most of my VST/VSTi plugins. (It's no secret that audio in Linux is a complete disaster.)
