Bitwig audio won't start sometimes on OSX

I am on OSX - Mavericks and sometimes Bitwig audio engine will not start. Reboot helps, however this is a bit annoying obviously since no other DAW I use does this.

Any ides what causes this?

I've found if you have multiple audio devices on your system that have been set to different sample rates the audio engine will crash on startup (or just throw an error at least and not boot at all).
