Hi!
EnergyXT is not dead.
To prove it, here you have an utility created by me, xtscomb, which combines an xts instrument-synth/sampler with another insstruments-synth.
But the older EnergyXT forum is dead: getsatisfaction.com/energyxt/topics .
That's sad because that site had quite a big collection of tips and tricks.
Regards,
Lucian

You're welcome!
There is nothing special to do for installation, it is a simple command line tool.
You can copy xtscomb.exe in the same folder where you have the presets you want to merge.
Then, in windows explorer, you can select more presets with Ctrl+LeftClick , then drag the selection over xtscomb.exe .
Then you can rename the output.xts as you like and use it.
Read also the readme file from the archive.
One hint: I notice that it crashes under windows 7 64bit.
I don't know the reason so far (malloc problem).
In order to make it work, do right-click on it, select Properties, choose Compatibility tab.
Then check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Windows XP Service Pack 3.
Then it will work.
