Your products sound amazing and your customer service is excellent! I bought a few of your guitars and a bass. I know this has been mentioned before in this forum but MUCH better manuals are needed. Keep in mind, that I don't play guitar,bass, or piano and I am not a Logic Pro expert. I am a singer with a good ear for composing. That leaves me having a ton of questions, but not knowing how to ask them or where to begin. The "player" feature in the guitars makes a performance possible, but I am tired of accidentally discovering features that should have been obvious the first 10 times I read the manual and watched the outdated videos.
A step by step, detailed product and/or video manual is needed(maybe especially for Logic) in order to use these powerful virtual instruments. It doesn't make any sense to not have one, especially if Ample sound wants to infiltrate the USA market and gain greater VST market share. If your reputation is having an amazing product with a terrible manual, eventually it might hurt sales. I want to create music without such a steep learning curve!
Thank you for reading and I will continue to complete my Ample Sound collection. I'm not sure if this is a problem for myself and a small minority of people.

"...needs MUCH better manuals".... ANY manual would be appreciated! I purchased the AGT software and like the sound of it so far but aside from a "pop up" here and there, there was no manual provided or ANY instruction on how to get varied results from the program. A LOT lacking there. Like you, I don't play guitar and purchased this to add much needed "guitar" flavor to my demos of demos! It seems Ample Sound would provide a more 'ample' manual.

this is exactly my speech and Your answers are NOT targeting that!

I v seen all of Your videos. There is just explaiend functionality, not the method how to do something completely.

(sorry I-m none english natively)

What I do need, like this guy, is an example starting with a melody, let be it allready in midi, and we kniw the harmoinics, tonic, dominant and subdominant chords. So now show us how to get a piece of music complete. The lenght of the piece of pattern which one did found a pattern for and then puting it into the track by dragging.

And there are many different work flows possible, depending what is Your starting source, tab file, midi file, notes, just chords. Also searching for the right pattern in such a big data base, some searching tips would be nice.

There are many software available, and even if this is sounding good - what do I have from, if I cannot finish a simple littele piece of music with it? So, after a while, it will just stay unused as many of software.

If Your customer is just someone, who allready does have completeled his midis, and now he just wants to try to drive over it whith amples to see, what would be the sound - then Your videos are enough teaching him. But not for me and the guy above.

And also no other did produce videos about that, I_m searching internet. I_m trying to use AGML first, and if I dont get any result, I will have to leave it alone, my time is not endless.

It is like describing a paradise but forgeting to tell the way.

Thanks for asking we have updated our HTML and PDF manuals
http://www.amplesound.net/en/tutorial.asp

And provide a lot of original projects include Cubase, Logic, Protools, Sonar, Live and MIDI, even include AMP settings. users can download them here

Guitar and Bass MIDI is very hard to do, there are many articulations, expressions and even different positions for the same pitch - the sound is not very real if the notes are played on wrong positions. users have to use a lot of keyswitches, CCs to control.
so we are working on a new module which has a convenient editor and a lot of solo \ riff presets, you will can simply select presets, make a few changes then drag into MIDI track.

Glad to hear you are extending the tab player. The solo/riff presets concept sounds promising. What would be ideal would be an editor that would allow me to control how the Guitar Pro articulations are interpreted - for example if I wanted to set the MIDI velocities of the dynamics to other values than the default ones. Or how vibrato is interpreted.

Overall though - the tab to MIDI is phenomenal.

>>how the Guitar Pro articulations are interpreted
You can drag Guitar pro file into MIDI track on Ample Guitar Tab module, all of articulations, pitches, velocities, CC include Vib and bender etc will be interpreted.

Let me give you an example:
From what I've determined, these are the MIDI output velocities you've set:
GPX Dynamic = MIDI Velocity
ppp = 15
pp = 30
p = 50
mp = 60
mf = 80
f = 95
ff = 110
fff = 125

What I would like to be able to do is edit these values in a table somewhere rather than editing the MIDI in a MIDI track in my DAW.

Two other TAB to MIDI wishes:
1) A keyswitch to return the tab player back to the beginning of the first measure of a tab in a MIDI track, so that I could ensure the tab player will stay in synch when I restart the track.
2) Ability to edit how much Guitar Pro legato notes overlap each other in the MIDI when dragging a tab to a MIDI track, something like a "legato duration = 110%"

Thank you!
