Hi atomic_afro. Liked The Mad Monster - good thumping beat - kind of reminds me of The Chemical Brothers. :) This should definately be on the top of your list of downloads. The other two tracks really didn't leave any impression on me - some good ideas but no real substance.

I think some of the sounds used didn't suit the music - the main lead in The Mad Monster for instance - a sort of organy sound, to me, just didn't seem to work and there was no real hook to go along with the great rhythm and ambience you created. I think you need more structure and "light and shade" aswell - quieter moments (usually the verse) followed by more intense louder moments (usually the chorus) - this would give the songs more structure and increase the impact of the chorus. Some of the instrument levels seemed a bit out aswell - some sounds were too loud or just didn't sound right where they were placed in the mix. I think you also need to introduce more sounds to keep the track interesting and give it that "professional" edge - if you listen to something like Orbital you can hear tiny sounds that don't really standout in the mix but, when used, add that something that lifts the track. I did notice, especially in The Mad Monster, that you did add additional drum sounds as the track progressed to "build" the track to its crescendo but I think you probably need to add even more drums and instruments/effects as the track progresses to keep the listener interested.

Try introducing some gated VST effects - especially on The Mad Monster - perhaps introduce this half way through the track, triggered by your drums on the main lead to lift the track.

These are only my opinions and I expect a lot of people would disagree, but that's what it's all about!

Keep up the good work!

All the best.
