You can Double click the knob and enter 7 for the pitch no ?
Double clicking got it working :)

The search function in the browser is a help, I can for example search for JP-4, to get the patches of that listed. But if I want to search for all the patches made from synths of a particular dev (like Roland or Yamaha), or a partiuclar instrument series (like Jupiter), it yields no result

This is why tag-based patch browsers are so important, and I hope UVI implements it eventually. :)

How would this compare to Digital Synsations and Synth Legacy? Are both included so we can get rid of them when we but SA2?

Post

SA2 includes everything available in Synth Legacy plus more stuff so it's his big brother.

SA2 and DS are two differents beats with no samples material in common.
SA2 includes lots of differents synths while DS focus on 4 synth of the 90s sampled with greater details.

Thank you, Olivier.
Seems perfectly clear that the upgrade from Synth Legacy would be $49, as I payed $49 for Synth Legacy in the Guitar Center Anniversary promotion.
However, my upgrade price for SA2 suggests €49 instead of $49. Shouldn't this be $49 US?

Post

If you are in the US, you should see an upgrade price in dollars.
If this isn't the case, please contact our support.

So is there supposed to be a special upgrade price for vintage vault-owners after all? When I add SA2 to the shopping basket, I see the regular €99, any chance I´ll see €49 there? :hihi:

Post

Only Synth Anthology 1 and Synth Legacy owners are eligible for an upgrade.
Everybody else have access to the intro price of 99 € until the 14th of november though.

Hope this clarify things.

Yes, thanks for the quick reply!

Is there any additional discount for someone who already owns Synths Anthology 1 and Synth Legacy?

i thought you just previously said there is very little in common between the two?

Here's the older thread on Synth Legacy vs. SA1: viewtopic.php?f=42&t=415064&start=60
SL is 4GB compressed, so about half the size of SA2. Main difference between SL and SA1 was the former's GUI and tweakability. They more or less carried the same synths AFAIK.

It doesn't. :)
Exactly....

But users should remember the specs required:
"4GB RAM (8 GB+ highly recommended for large UVI Soundbanks)"

I am on 8GB (i5) and playing a three finger chord can bring the CPU up to 40% on some of the patches.

Post

@Numanoid I'm quitte surprised by your CPU usage though. Are you sure your three finger chord wasn't preceded by other three finger chords which was still in release ? Please tell me which patch so I can check on my end.
Thx
