Ever have a song stuck in your mind? Well, what do you do if it's an original song and you don't have the skill to realize it? If I forget it, I'll never get it back, so in my case I just fumbled about and mashed some keys until it at least has the bare framework of the song stuck in my mind, hopefully to be revisited later on once I've gotten more experience.
Anyway, I'd love to hear what you have to say, keeping in mind my disclaimer:

bit basic yet but the idea is okay. The background pad-washes are a bit muddying though. Be interesting to see where you will take this

Oh...I thought this was something related to the movie DUNE...Remember when the old sorceress said that? "Get out of my mind!"

Thanks. You'll just have to trust that it sounds much better in my head...of course, in there it has lyrics sung by Peter Gabriel
And I totally agree about the muddy background. I was going for a kind of "Wish you were here" lo-fi background then suddenly a clear melody pops into the foreground...obviously I failed. I'm thinking in the next version going a cleaner synth, only over a telephone filter, with vocals for the melody, kind of like he's talking to someone. And I'm also having nasty sustain problems with that melody patch, but I like it so much for this and Rhino is just so complicated, I couldn't figure out how to tame it.
