Indeed. What started as a way to promote a "weirdo" synth, and as a way to help users getting more out of it, became perhaps the biggest "hit" of Native Instruments.glokraw wrote:That's the number of recorded downloads. It's already at 12.8KNumanoid wrote: Interesting that the download on the NI page is listed at 11.7K.
That number helps point out some great downloads, but there's so many niche ensembles, that one should also consider the comments, the ratings, recognize the notable authors, and also the comments given by the notable authors, to new or lesser known authors. Quite a nice community and system they've maintained all these years!

https://flintpope.com/reaktor.phpAfter an unprecedented gap between releases Flintpope has unleashed a new gizmo; an instrument for quickly making new beats, soundscapes, samples and musical sketches.
This instrument contains 256 samples in two banks; one is a set of beats and the other is a set of ambient pads. Play them together to create new beats and new audio spaces.

New ensemble called SLOO by Time Exile
https://shop.timexile.com/products/slooVoice swarming means high impact and maximum versatility with very few controls. All SLOO’s main sound controls are on one page making the 103 included presets instantly tweakable to get to the sound you’re looking for. Familiar controls such as Filter Cutoff, Resonance, FM and LFO Speed are intuitive to use while sonic richness and complexity emerge from the swarm patterns beneath the hood. Whether it’s a lead, pad, sound FX or a rhythmic sequence you can get to its most modern incarnation in record time.

New Blocks! An awesome wavefolder and an incredible triple-bandpass filter! Set the peaks to note values / make chords and morph between them...wow! A great interface!

I figured at some point I'd try getting into hardware modular - getting excited waiting months to pick up a new filter, spending half a grand on some funky sequencer. But with all this (and the ridiculous number of great user-blocks), I think I'll just get a nicer studio desk, two awesome monitors (and two awesome monitors for the ears), a better midi controller - basically the price of a eurorack "starter kit" - and spend half my musical life in Blocks.

Those look awesome!
Affordable? It's an absolute bargain even for just the factory library Blocks alone.chk071 wrote:Reaktor has some impressive stuff, for sure. And actually quite affordable for what you get there.
