OK, I'll remove it. I just found out that we're doing a good price on it next month so I'd rather not see anyone buy it now, anyway.ATS wrote:I guess we are just posting anything and everything now. $149 for Rapture pro is FAR from a good deal. It has been MUCH cheaper than that many times in the past.

It's probably worth that, but I'm not seeing the point really. What's so interesting about it, price notwithstanding?bftucker wrote:Consider Seaweed Audio's Fathom!

Doing the happy dance over the Sonarworks plugin at $53 - of course it helps that it works with my headphones. I've been eyeing this for a while, but the $99 was slowing me down.
Thanks Uncle E for the extra discount in the cart as well.....

Great! It's the best, I won't mix on headphones without it anymore.dzilizzi wrote:Doing the happy dance over the Sonarworks plugin at $53 - of course it helps that it works with my headphones. I've been eyeing this for a while, but the $99 was slowing me down.

Get custom calibrated headphones. It is absolutely worth it.dzilizzi wrote:Doing the happy dance over the Sonarworks plugin at $53 - of course it helps that it works with my headphones. I've been eyeing this for a while, but the $99 was slowing me down.

As far as I can tell, nothing... and the UI seems laggy... all imo, of course. [I really wanted this to be amazing, but somehow most modular S/w is disappointing]ghettosynth wrote:It's probably worth that, but I'm not seeing the point really. I have a set of AT MX50's. It is one of the ones that is supposedly calibrated. I realize custom calibration would be better, but this is better than nothing. And since I do a lot of mixing on headphones, this is great.

I use AKG K702s and the bass roll-off is significant.. Going to have to try this Sonarworks thing out. Anyone compare to the ToneBoosters one?
