Hi guys!

How do you work out your Granular Synthesis via Bitwig!?

I miss something like this... or at least a zoomable sampler...

Hit me with cheap lookalikes... if you got any idea.

PEACE!

I've seen some clumsy attempts at replicating this with Bitwig's devices (sampler + modulators), but really just get this plug-in:

Be warned that it's no longer supported by the developer, but I've not seen people complaining about it - it works fine.

Yeah but you can't get it anymore

Audio Damage are releasing a new Granular plugin called Quanta shortly that looks very promising. Definitely on my buy list.

You can pay, so do you mean you won't receive the serial code?

Is the serial all that's needed? I can only see a demo on the site, not a full download and the download links I was sent when I bought it no longer work and he doesn't respond to emails so they may have problems getting the full installer.

There's no serial involved, it's a personalized installer whose download link expires after a couple of days. Hope you still find your original copy if the guy won't reply to mails anymore.

Pity we don't have Rewire in Bitwig as Grain in Reason is an easy to use granular style synth.

Yes that’s annoying

Oh, I didn't know :( I heard he doesn't develop his plugins anymore, but wasn't aware he doesn't provide the product that's being sold. That's borderline scummy if true.

I guess if there is some automated delivery after payment then people are getting what they paid for, but the expiry thing is a problem for me as I was wanting to redownload the absolute last one but couldn't.

The upcoming audio damage one looks like it will be great for bitwig and even supports mpe so it should be a nice fit. There’s also a couple free ones floating around with fairly recent threads in the instrumentnforum I think. What were they... ribs and crust are a couple I think.

I guess Reaktor is your best bet for now.
