Hi Dave,
Few thoughts after receiving (this morning) tau 2
FIrst of all, I'm totally pleased with the tau 2 sound, as said in previous posts, It does not sound exactly like a 303, but it's not a problem, as it has its own personnality.
I tried some acid trance (add every genre you want) vsti, Audiorealism Bass lin and Tau 2 are my favourite. You don't have to mess with a lot of knob and parameter (for that I can Use My good old AN1X). A good sequence, a little bit of overdrive, delay, and off we go !!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but few times ago, you were talking about a SH101 vsti emulation, did you drop this idea or will it come to life soon

I don't remember ever discussing plans for an SH101 emulation. We've certainly got the technology and experience to do it, but I'd be uncertain if there was a market out there to support the effort involved. I would say for now that there's no plan to do such a plugin.
Funny how Tau MkII sounds exactly like my 303 though...can't tell the difference in a mix even if I say so myself
Kind regards
Dave
