Hey :)

http://www.hyperspeed.plus.com/Ess-K%20 ... nFINAL.mp3

After some feedback on the original, ive gone back to this song and reworked a few things, particularly adding more chorus to the intro arp, bringing the 303 in a bit more, and trying to 'fatten' the pad break.
Also added a little more to the drums, still keeping them quite basic, but now they arent as 'bare' and clearer.
I've added a new lead sound copying the pad also, which has some portamento, which is different to the norm!
The bassline has also changed a little, im using 2 sounds, again to make it more deeper and 'fatter' and bring it more out of the mix.

Let me know what you think folks, all advice and feedback is welcome.

Sean :)

I didn't hear the original so...
Nice pad . I like the vibrato . Portamento works nicely too.

Not sure about the bass. Sounds a bit 'woody'. Maybe a sine wave an octave below the main bass will help to fill in the bottom end a bit more ?

Yeah, I will follow the sun,
Forever Sun,

Yeah, I remember this...
I'd have to play them back to back to hear the exact differences, but:
I still think this is trance-by-numbers but that's obviously what you want so I'll say no more about that.
It sounds pretty good to me - in fact it reminds me a lot of Jam & Spoon's "Follow Me" quite a bit. And I like(d) Jam & Spoon a lot. Till they went all commercial and crap.

Well done on the update - it sounds pretty cool.

Thanks guys :)

Yea 'Follow Me' was quite an uplifting tune, those sort of songs arent being made these days, and im sure they are missed!
Which is where im hoping to fill that gap with :)

Now Slightly changed the wave file itself, a few discreet eq's.
Smaller file size also lol.
