After my fabulous holidays in RSA, I came up with this song and its how I feel about the most beautiful country in the world :D :love: . As always, I ended out with something else than what I started with... :D In this case, this song started out to be a plain 'rock' song, but I got bored with it, but I couldnt just *throw* it away, so I used the first 8 measures of my 'rocksong', ran it thru a highpass filter, made an abrupt break in the song and... started something else 8).
All sounds played by me except for the 'yeah yeah yeah' sample (heavily modified, but still, not my own :D ) and at the ending the choir you hear is 'Johnny Clegg and Savuka' with the song 'Asimbonanga'.
As often happens with my music, I dont really know what genre it is :D, I always mix everything up, I cant help it :hyper:

Thanks for thinking of us and dedicating a song. The production is verry good. At places it reminds me of some of the stuff from Trevor Rabin (Yes), another South African. Did you do the vocals? You are allowed to do some more. Really great.

Haghi, this has a great feel. The opening until 0:35 sounds overly compressed and has the life squeezed out of it. But the song overall is great, the vocals remind me a little of Peter Gabriel. Nice distant piano and pads too. I liked this a lot.

Well, the opening does NOT sound overly compressed, it IS overly compressed, well not exactly, its been ran through a filter which I explained in my post :D. But nevermind, tx for the comments and tx for the time listening!

This is not my *normal* style of music since Im more of a *rock-guy*, so I think this is as "dancy" as I will ever get :lol:
I think my next song will be a punk-song :hihi:
