Cab Sims - Algorithmic or IR-based?

loving the Kuassa amp/cab sims - I use Matchlock and Caliburn the most - have Clarent as well, but haven't used it as much

anyway, I have what should be a very simple question about the cab sim portion of these plugins - are they algorithmic or based on IRs?

I was going to guess algorithmic, but the Clarent description explicitly mentions IRs, so that made me wonder
