Evaluating Bitwig and Surge XT with Linnstrument

I'm thinking about getting Bitwig (full). I'm going to spend the next three weeks learning Bitwig and Surge XT with my Linnstrument. I'm planning to evaluate basic workflow, the grid, CLAP integration, and MPE. Are there specific features that you suggest I look into? What sorts of interesting things have you mapped the y-axis to?

Bitwig is an excellent DAW, and works well with Surge XT because the main coder and co-founder at Bitwig, Claes Johanson, originally wrote Surge XT.
