I changed the preferences to make every sequence unique. Just makes life more difficult trying to remember which are connected and which aren't. But that's just my preference, so to speak!

The default is to make unique copies.
So you changed it first to "make shared copies" now back to "make unique copies", right?

Well, if I remember, the default was originally set as shared back in M4 or 5, and due to a post about it, you changed the default to be Unique.
I could be remembering that wrong though, but I think that's what happened.

Just a question, why hasn't this fr be implemented yet? Are there architectural difficulties or other frs are more important? I'm not trying to push this fr, as I currently don't use Mulab or any other DAW due to my break from making music, but it seems to me this is rather important DAW feature, I'm just curious.
