Hi all.
I’ve got one of these on the way - a little retro, eh. It’s missing the tone arm, and I don’t have any idea what fitting it would need. If by chance any of you still have one of these knocking around in your collection, could you check to see if it’s a standard size, like a Strat arm or whatever?
I know this is a long shot - but any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry, don't have one.
But I saw a pic in the manual: it screws on.
Likely a standard rod diameter (1/4" ??) and thus likely a standard thread. But you don't know until you try.
What I don't understand is why you bought one without. I saw plenty for sale for a good price which are complete. So I hope you paid peanuts accordingly.
Here's a (alas not so good) photo of the tremolo arm detached
And I found some info in Japanese:

You can use the same tremolo arm as for electric guitars.
If you lose your tremolo arm, you can purchase it at a music store or online for a few hundred yen to a thousand yen.
The one in the foreground is the tremolo arm that comes with the EZ-EG.

The angle, length, and shape of the tip may vary slightly, but you can use whatever you like. Unlike a real electric guitar, it doesn't require any force, so you don't have to worry about its hardness.
It is the same as a common-sense screw, and can be installed by tightening it clockwise, and removed by turning it in the opposite direction.
We are the KVR collective. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.

I had one before, and am pretty sure its way smaller than a strat tremolo arm. Might try yamaha support for leftover parts.

Hey, thanks for this - really helpful, much appreciated. The lack of a tone arm was an oversight on my part, but the return would be to Japan, so not worthwhile. I’ll pick up a (small) Strat arm and see how it goes.BertKoor wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2023 9:17 pm Sorry, don't have one.
