Tl;Dr - how do you use round robins in choke clusters without the round robins choking themselves out?
Hi all!
I have 5 groups of hihat samples (1 group for closed, one for partially open, open, etc.), with 5 velocity layers of 5 round robins.
I have group selection set to midi cc4 so I can activate each group with a hihat controller on my electronic drum kit, that's working fine, but Im having difficulty getting he choke clusters set so that group1 (hihat open) doesn't play when group 5 (hihat closed) is activated.
If I set them to the same choke cluster, the round robins within a given group also choke each other out and the full sample doesn't play, creating a staccato/stutter effect when playing.
Is there a setting I'm overlooking, or is this just not possible?
Thanks in advance!

FYI - You can't. You're limited to 20 choke clusters total - so you have to reduce the round robins significantly and assign each RR a different choke cluster so they don't cancel each other out.
