This part sounds *very* interesting:

Quote:

The Kontakt Script Processor (KSP) is a powerful feature that outfits Kontakt 2 with an unlimited range of sophisticated performance features. KSP is a fully programmable processing engine that transforms and generates MIDI and control events on the basis versatile yet easy-to-learn script language. A KSP module can be an arpeggiator or a step sequencer, a MIDI recorder or a chord generator, a virtual guitar or a harp simulator, or whatever the user wants it to be -- complete with definable on-screen-controls. Kontakt 2 ships with a large assortment of pre-programmed KSP modules that can be used out of the box as well as modified according to individual needs. The NI website will also host a special KSP User Library where Kontakt 2 users will be able to freely trade their custom-programmed KSP modules.

Hopefully Reaktor will get some kind of scripting support.

Wow, that sounds great. Lots of nice new features. I'm excited as I've been using Kontakt more and more.

Battery2, Absynth3, Kontakt2... okay Komplete Care is sounding much better now!!! And if one were to update to just those three apps, it's already paid for itself and we're ahead a bit too. Cool.

Yeah, Komplete Kare is sounding better and better. If Reaktor 5 somehow drops in 2005, This would be a slam dunk

I was just thinking the same thing.

Kontakt Script Processor! Shit!

Can only hope that it'll feed into my algorithmic toolset. Cool

I mentioned in a previous post, whether I would regret purchasing Komplete Kare - the answer is now a resounding no - this looks the business.

Now being a greedy bastard give me Reaktor 5 as well.

Hasn't paid itself for me yet. Battery is nice, but I have DR008. But I'm glad Kontakt2 is coming. I'd like to start using it as my sampler instead of Halion (got Halion before Kontakt was announced Sad)

Sounds like a shot across the bow of Gigastudio too. The convolution processor in particular.
