on 'character,' it's desirable to have evolution along the tarncewave, but it doesn't have to be linear, eg. fizmo would have several vowel formants in a table.
i'm sure with any modular s/w it'd be simple to crank em out.. if i was industrious i'd do it all myself and charge you all a bomb for it :p
try to stay away from stuf that can be done 'outboard' like just running a filter over the wave,* and if you can maximise the cycles that's cool too, but i'll work something out.
then again, i suppose this might be "cool" too, eg. doing a sweep on some coveted analog synth.. you be the judge of what you want, i'll try and fit it all together! :p
