hmmm,
authentic or not, they are pretty neat

There's a Reaktor collection of instruments in there as well. I only downloaded one of them, but it looks like pretty standard Reaktor stuff.

I'm pretty sure Autechre doesn't use Reaktor, in fact I've personally heard them say they don't like Reaktor and seemed pretty clueless about it. Although the ensembles say they were reverse engineered, reverse engineered means the original ensemble existed.

I could be wrong... but

definitely cool though.

What's posted at that site doesn't look too innovative Reaktor-wise, but if it's reverse-engineered, maybe that's why.

Liccflii i believe is authentic? I'm not sure about the other ones but really who cares, these are nice patches either way.

Nobody said they did. If you check the site you'll find this comment before the Reaktor ensembles "from MaxMSP by Autechre into Reaktor by Fluorescent Grey". ;)

we've been downloading all the reaktor-patches and then we remembers that the same site offered earlier 'afx'- and 'squarepusher'-ensembles: if you'll have a close look you'll see that - for example - the 'reverse engeneered' autechre-ensemble's filesize is 18 mbyte (!) - and it sounds pretty crappy. sorry to say that but all of these instruments and ensembles (afx, squarepusher, these autechre-alike ones...) sound horrible, the gui's quite ugly and basically the results do sound poor: there are so many other ensembles in the library with a filesize of just a few kilobytes which do create a more 'realistic' afx/s'pusher- and autechre-sound. we don't want to blame anyone but these offered 'autechre'-patches are quite useless compared to really well coded other instruments and ensembles.
