I really liked Ted's video. It was very informative. I noticed that Ted used 256 samples as a buffer size... is this the preferred size? My intereface is an RME Fireface 800 and I can handle almost anything.

Also, I noticed that Ted's Receptor is much faster than mine!! He said in the video that he can switch multis within 5 seconds. It takes about 30-45 seconds on mine to load most multis. I have 2GB of RAM and a 200GB HD. I have 28.5GB available. I am also using Z-load. My System Version is 1.5.20060418. My Hardware Version is 1.0 (Rev B). I just tried loading a multi utilizing all 16 channels. It took 90 seconds! ANy ideas?

Regarding the time taken for patch changes - I was informed by Muse last week of a way to speed up these changes - by enabling Zload. You can check this option on the info box on the lower RHS of the the Setup screen on Receptor Remote. Not sure how you do this via the front panel - but it is mentioned in the manual. The Zload feature uses up RAM to store information, but the results are fantastic...my song patch changes are about 10 times faster now. Just one or two seconds to load.

I also was not using the latest release [I was using a beta 1.6 release] and this also helped as before the Receptor locked up regularly on song patch changes.
