Hi Urs,
please let us buy your breathtaking MFM V2 !!!
forget about pre-orders , concerning me !!!, and put a BUY IN URGEND NEED ! button
on its site. I'd like to continue working with it and don't like that sizzling noise.
This pluggo is already a very important feature in my music.

Yes.

I'm working hard on a new built. But: I switched system and that's what's holding me off. I managed to compile MFM2, BUT IT DOES NOT WORK.

The whole Vista thing has not only cost me two weeks, it has also destroyed stability.

I'm considering going back to XP (that is, buy a license today and do the whole reinstall etc.)

I'm really upset, having choleric attacks.

I'm trying my best, but this whole thing is seriously nuts.

Fuc*in microsoft.. :nutter: :bang:
I can't understand why release an os that can give all these problems, surfing the web seems that you aren't alone in this "head smashing"...

perhaps you could release at least the mac version first... this would SAVE us mac users at least ;-)

Yeah. I'm currently looking for a solution. I can't put it on sale and then just not deliver a working Win version. I also can't just "freeware" the Win version and then charge for the Mac version. I also can't just cease Win development. Latter is a very tempting option though, given the current state of Vista and their crappy developer tools.

Post

+1 for a Mac version to purchase now. MFM appears somewhere in most of my projects.

Hey Urs, but why not an Osx & XP release and a "coming soon" Vista??

Post

Because that requires him to buy XP.
Just got a small question: can't you just edit the last version and extend the beta date. Or devellop a small too to wrap the old version in (which spoofs calls to the windows date to before the expiry date)
MFM 2 features on all my tracks, so I'd really like to see the win version coming.

The problem is, I simply have switched platforms here and thought that 2 weeks were enough to get ederything going. Fatal error.

I don't have XP around here as my PC has moved out as well...

Now...

Does this .dll work for everybody:

http://www.u-he.com/MFM2test.zip (dll only, put in Vstplugins\u-he\)

Any problems loading this?

Post

I haven't been using MFM2 much yet, but I just tested it and the old version (i.e., NOT the .dll Urs just posted) still seems to be functioning here.... :?
