Zebra2 no presets in Live 6.0.7 demo

Started playing around with Live 6 demo (6.0.7) on OS X 10.4.9 and it does not matter if I use the VSTi or AU but I have no access to presets for Zebra2.

Is this a bug or am I just being stupid and missing something?

Do you mean you can't access presets from the Live browser or from within Zebra2?

If you're trying to use the Live browser, did you download the factory banks in .fxp (for VST) or .aupreset (for AU) format? By default Zebra2 ships its presets in .h2p format which isn't understood by Live.

Here they are:
aupreset -> http://u-he.com/zebra/download/Zebra2FactoryAU.zip
fxp -> http://u-he.com/zebra/download/Zebra2FactoryVST.zip


If you can't see the presets at all even in Zebra's preset window the most common problem is fixing your permissions. I'm assuming you've copied your preset folder to either:

[MAC HD]/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Zebra2
or
/Users/[your user name]/Library/Audio/Presets/u-he/Zebra2

You should already see the Zebra2 directory in both places because the plugin will create them both when it's first run. If you don't see the directories, it sounds like a permission bug.

Thanks for the help. None of that fixed it but got me looking in the right direction.

Turns out the Preset folders where empty and there was a preset folder in my /Library/Audio/PlugIns/Vst/Zebra2 that had all the presets. I copied them over and everyone is happy now with seeing presets/

I am still a newbie with Mac (many long years on the PC) and sometimes I just have no clue where to go.
