I'm looking for a decent quality bell wich the sound would not last too long, so that it does not cut out at small notes placed one after the other, basicaly I'm looking for a bell to use as an actual instrument part of a song, not as a small sound effect.bwwd wrote:here are some bells , what kind of bells do you exactly need ?

Not sure what you're looking for -- bells vary so much in character, but was a synth from Krakli called Bel, which I don't see on the site but was there last fall. You might ask Ian if he still makes it available.

And just to add one more to the mix:
What kind of bells are you after? Church? Gamelan? Carillon? Sleigh? Glock (not bells, but often considered in the same category)?
If you want a realistic bell instrument rather than FM/Additive patchs (which I'm rapidly going off as my goto bell sound) I'd suggest Wusik and its Carillon bells sample set for quality and usability. It's pretty cheap at the moment, too.
Of course I'm sure there are plenty of sample sets out there which would do the same, and possibly even some decent soundfonts.
Again - it depends exactly what you want.
