First Attempt at Progressive House (?)

Not sure if I can really call this progressive house, but whatever, it's supposed to be some sort of dance music
Anyways, mixed this together this morning in between slacking off and eating bacon half-naked on my balcony, with somewhat-deluded aspirations of becoming an awesome club producer.

Crits and comments on mix, arrangement and danceability are, as always, more than welcome.

..did you do this on headphones by any chance? The kick is too huge, the hats too soft, but i really like the main riff; not so much the leadsound though, but that's a case of preference. To add groove, use different velocities on your kick and you hold the listeners attention by little sounds/fx in the background. Couldn't hear the snare of clap, which obviously adds to the groove. Also, your volumelevels are up on all main parts, and that tires the ears quickly.

Yeah, all headphones, too broke ATM to buy speakers. But after letting the thing rest for two days and listening to it again, I pretty much agree with all your critiques. I'll make a more balanced version with nice punchy hats and snare some time tomorrow... (hooray for procrastination )
