Nice work! You've got skills!

There is geometry in the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres. Pythagoras

Another nice composition from you Dimitar.

You know, I listened to a Satch collection that I have on CD that I haven't listened to in some years.

Your songwriting skills are much more varied than his. So while the tone is the same, I find your stuff much more interesting to listen to.

Fantastic playing, Dimitar.
And, unlike what some others may say, I think you're more and more getting away from whatever Satriani-ish style. Which is a very good thing, if you ask me.
There are 3 kinds of people:
Those who can do maths and those who can't.

Your bar work is getting more and more personal sounding, compositions are tight, and the overall phrasing is very musical and sensible, imo.

Mix is tight, too.

I don't know... Sounds like Joe to me. Dimi needs to work on getting a unique voice of his own.

He's a much better composer than Satch, imo.

Not even close.. IMO. Dimi's a great player but I've never heard anything from him that didn't sound like a Satch rip off.

I think Satch does a ton of cliched Chuck Berry type rhythms and his drums and bass almost always sound like MIDI asleep at the wheel. Not always, a lot. There are definitely some Satch gems.

and every Satch track has something to love and envy. I'm not trying to run the guy down. But he's not a class A composer like Johnny A or even a laid back player like Chris Isaak. Both those guys eat JS for lunch, imo, even as players. 32nd notes are a tool but they don't mean diddly if they're soaring over elevator music.

I just want to go on record saying I was poking fun (in a good way)

I can't do that stuff :(

I like your playing, more power to ya D!

See... I like that Joe shows his influences. I like music to be at least a little different from song to song. If he didn't break it up by injecting other styles then every song would sound the same like Dimi.

Do you know who Frank Marino is? Some do some don't. IMO Frank is a hell of a guitar player. He used to channel Hendrix and made a pretty good job of it but my favorite Marino tunes are the ones that sound nothing like Hendrix AAMOF I usually skip the Hendrix sounding stuff all together.

Robin Trower never really played Hendrix licks. More like in the style of but he did it in his own voice. That's why Robin was a superstar and not many people have ever heard of Frank. BTW I never skip Trower tunes.
