Does more than kicks, similar price range.
Make sure you demo the various presets, as it gives you an assortment of different modules to achieve the effect you desire.

Try the Angular Momentum KickLab XL VSTi. It's kinda like a Jomox MBase01 in software form.

Is this a way to have a trigger mode in KickLab XL? the note off is regitered by the plugin and the sound is roughly cut, creating clicks.

There was a free synth called Kickdrum on the synthmaker site I downloaded some months ago. Had various templates from 909, 808, etc. Google it up.
