ditto, check your PM...
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Nice track, Lady J. Of all the tracks you posted this weekend, this is my favorite. The droning keys and guitars are really nice. There are some dynamics missing in the overall mix (imo) that might be contributed to the mp3 rendering or overcompression, but I really enjoyed listening to this.
Hope.
Fun track. Nice work.
p.s. for the first time in a while, I'm the newest member in the cafe to comment on a post. You guys are oldskool.

Thanks. I wanted to create a sort of vibe of the time. ie: the song is not happy but hopefull, Not dark but shadowed with just enough color. It's not somber but sober. Tune for the time.Jazzyspoon wrote:Nice track, Lady J. Of all the tracks you posted this weekend, this is my favorite. The droning keys and guitars are really nice. Cool track....I like the composition more then then the actual sound choices, but that's more of a preference thing. The mix is crisp except there seems to be a lack of low, low end. I'd say beef the bass a bit
P.S. Obama is a war monger just like all the rest of 'em, and no real "change" has come.

i would say take the reverb or delay off from his voice, the sample already has alot on it and its building unwanted resonance.
i would recommend adding a drop down too for atmosphere.
Its a good track though. Obama would love it.

Say Lady J,
This is the same tune that I did the glitched re-mix for you a couple years ago.
I'm missing the glitch!
