Funny you should mention that, because yesterday I went looking for this pack and found it.

I love the compressor, real powerful and nasty. But it's a cheap sound, so I mean if you own Fabfilter Pro-C I wouldn't be getting this. Personally I love using new plugins for every recording, so if it's usable, that's cool.

I won't say you get what you pay for, but I have to wonder about the heritage of stuff like this. I mean, can't anybody throw these together in SE?

The Blue Line plugins have been around for a long time. If I remember correctly they weren't exactly freeware. Perhaps someone has a better memory than I do about these plugins

EDIT: Seems I was wrong. These may very well be the same ones. It's hard to say what is different, but the originals were discontinued a couple years ago. They do say they are from the original company, but I wonder if anything has changed.

I'm pretty sure these are NOT the same. They don't look the same, and they have an obvious SE skin. The older ones weren't SE.

There's been two or three, now that I think of it. When you include Nomad Factory Blue Tubes, people really like blue plugins!

They look the same to me! I used to use these plug-ins all the time, they were my first FX pack - they bring back so many memories.

Nowadays I have much better effects but I'll download them again just for the blast-from-the-past factor!

See my edit. I was thinking of a different suite, or so I thought. Those were some OLD plugins. You can still get the latest versions from the official website though, so I wonder why they are at a different site as well? Original site is here:

Gotta go back to the wayback machine to look at the old website, but doing that made me realize that they were the same.

Cool that Digilogue still keeps these plugins up for download. Went to the wayback machine and found:

"Please take into account that programming these plug-ins has taken a lot of time, and the registration fee of US$35 is very fair !"

So they weren't actually free but I have the feeling that few people paid the registration fee.
