I would actually place the tone of the bass samples to that of Roger Waters

I tried to purchase this, but PayPal won't accept my cards. I've been having some problems with them, and can't get the issue resolved yet. Guess I'll just have to order in the future at the normal price.

Anyone know what it's retail price is? I don't see a price 'cut' like the other sale products have. Just curious.

Hi Aaron, I've just bought Jazz Bass, given the very good demo and the low price, but there are several samples (especially around A2) with BAD and LOUD clicks!!!
How can it be? How is it possible to sell a library with bad samples? Is it possible that something went wrong with my download?

There are also some samples with absolute paths which aren't found initally and have to be found manually.

I think this may have been a rushed release.

I'm getting very bad clicks too. I just hope it's not the Kontakt 3.5 beta that's causing the problem because that's what I use and it isn't supported by Lyrical Distortion if I remember correctly.

It's not Kontak, I played the samples directly with other programs, the clicking is part of the samples... Very bad, I think we should have our money back....

Is this a new outfit? If so, give them a chance to correct it.

If they've been around a while, then it is inexcusable.

No, Aaron is a very experienced and respected Kontakt developer (probably more known at NorthernSounds than KVR though). He made and/or programmed many of the Bela D libraries like Lyrical Distortion, which he now sells himself, as he has gone out on his own. This is an unbelievable deal and I just bought it too and I am not freaking out or bad-mouthing him. I have tons of libraries where the developer has had to fix things, it's hardly a reason to panic. As far as libraries with issues, I can tell you of glitches like this from MANY of the developers here at KVR. I have an older guitar library from one of the biggest developers where someone is coughing on one of the samples (for an E string, as I recall). But clicks, I've had that happen on early releases from around ten or more libraries and the developers have always fixed it.

As Aaron is located in the US, he's probably still sleeping (I'm in the US too, just up really early). Instead of bashing the guy and jumping to premature conclusions, just give him some time to wake up. I'm extremely confident that he'll work this out for us.

The conclusions I was jumping to were for the best. If you don't want me to jump to any then an experienced developer has released a shonky set that isn't worth the discounted price.

I had that problem too but it's easy enough to repair and common enough.

Not hearing all those loud clicks with the basic setting but then again, I'm working, so I haven't flicked all of the Key Switches just yet!

If I gave you a list of the libraries I have where the developer later had to do an update to fix some initial mistakes, I would easily be ticking off a substantial amount of sample developers here at KVR.

What I am saying is that, let's wait for the guy to wake up. I spent $10 too and then saw this, and I've never bought any of this guy's libraries before, but I know people who did and they said very good things about him.

If he fixes this issue today and everything sounds great are you still going to be glad that you said everything negative you possibly could to try to insult the guy? Give him a chance; that's all I'm saying. If this problem is fixed -- which I'm certain it will be -- will you then feel this is an unbelievable deal for $10?
