Having got a new PC setup (Intel Q9400 2.66GHz, 2x2GB DDR3 1333 RAM), just thinking maybe it needs a bit of pushing.

I have a hunch the loading spikes being caused is from the note-killer defined from REL.COUNT value, and was thinking is it possible to have 'true' unlimited polyphony? (That is, an option for no note-kills)

Thanks in advance.

I'm assuming you're seeing load spikes? I think they are from starting new notes. A small spike is possible when you start a note. Stopping a note has no associated CPU cost.

Yeah, something like that. Perhaps more prominent when playing a sequence through Helix that has a load of notes going on at once, at a fast rate.

But either way, would it be possible to have a slightly higher release count, if not an option for unlimited release count either way?
