I'm thinking about buying a Receptor, and need to know it it works with an Axon ax50 via virtual usb midi.
Can anyone confirm if the axon editor runs ok on the Receptor. Apologies if this is a stupid question, as I have no idea if normal windows software works ok on the unit.

Hi!
As long as your device has a MIDI OUT socket, it should work with the Receptor, so you should be able to control the Receptor with your guitar...
However, you won't be able to install the Axon Editor on Receptor, since it only runs VST effects and instruments.

I use an Axon MKII with a Rev C and get fantastic results. I can't say whether or not the Axon USB unit will be able to connect to the Receptor via the USB MIDI out, but its' MIDI will certainly work.Not all USB controllers function with the Receptor, and I do not have any experience with the AX50. Having the Axon Editor on the Receptor is unnecessary if you have a Mac or PC
