DON'T START THREADS SAYING I CAN'T DO THAT!
But should I choose the AKG K240 Studio Editions or the K601?
I have a budget of £200.
I'd also love to hear your experiences with the AKG K240s.
Thank you.
Most stuff is not true.DeepFiber wrote:Things I heard regarding akgs in general (and 701): akgs dont have any bass, akgs sounds very "pure" and natural (dont know how natural that is without bass tho..), akgs give fake stereo scenery (701, too wide), akgs make voices sound unnatural (some users found them to be so bad they just couldnt use them anymore), akgs needs separate headphone amps to sound good (more juice).
Really? Totally overlooked that one. Tried a bunch of other tools, and all were dissappointing except for Isone Pro (which is rather good).Doug1978 wrote:..., and also the 112DB Redline Monitor plug-in if you haven't already, (Redline Monitor is the best monitor recreation plug-in for headphones available and costs about £95).
