Hey there! I just have to say that your KX-MODULAD is a little bit over my head, but I salute you for your generosity and for your time in explaining to other people how to go about using your instruments.
That said, the presets built into the first version of KX-MODULAD are really good! You're one of the first persons I took notice of around here with such a helpful attitude. I can't say the same thing for the majority of other users who hang about especially in the Instruments forum. |

would love to see KX-SYNTH-X16-V2 with full midi learn support (or at least more than it is now) but will check KX77FREE 11 for sure too. |

Hi,
I'm working on the new version of the Kx-synth-x16. Done: Full Midi Learn Frequency display on the main page. Sequencer folder inside the plug-in folder To do: test the kx-modulad oscillators with EMS waveforms to replace the SE tweaked oscillators to improve the CPU use. Xavier |

Great news about the Kx-synth-x16! I really liked the raw sound of the first version, but i gave up on the second version because all the install "hassle", and the expanded features kind of overwelmed me a bit. I'm gonna give the updated version a spin tough, the sequencer sounds like a lot of fun, and i really miss the sound of this synth. IMO there's nothing out there that sounds like it.
Thanks for all your effort! |

Hi,
I can also update the old v1.04 kx-synth-x16 whitout any poly features, just add the midi learn and the sequencer. It's possible. You can start and work with only the V2 monophonic presets. Xavier |

Thanks for the freebie - looks interesting and as I'm very much into modular synthesis, I'll definitely give it a try.
However, I was curious in what this part of the explanation means: "Modular Synthesizer [...] All modulations are pre-connected, no cables on the GUI". If everything is pre-wired, doesn't that make it by definition a non-modular synthesizer? |

Thankyou for this wonderful instrument, some really great sounds that go the extra mile, and I'm only in the first 30, and the default color scheme is gorgeous too! Makes a guy want to practice and record, and call in sick with the vst-flu |

Each modular synthesizer is not 100% modular. And with classic modular you have only up to 3 entries and output for each modules, you are physically limited when you patch with the jacks. I preselected all any possible connections but, for example, I didn't connected the resonance amount in the possible destitination. You're right, it's not really 100% modular because it's not possible to do feedback patch like the kx-synth-x16. That's why I worked on the kx-synth-x16. Xavier |
