Hi
Having installed yesterday (and updated) I am getting the following message which I cannot find a solution. The problem page on the EWQL site has this question but it leads to a unanswered page. I cannot find anything in the manual either.
How do I create a path to the instrument folder E:/? (windows xp)

Thank you

Go to the EWQLSO "Browser" window then in the bottom left pane right click and assign each of the libraries (woodwinds, brass, perc, strings) to the folder where your samples are. You might want to open EWQLSO in stand alone mode first to do this.

Hi David
No I am not getting it..
Can you confirm that the files I have shown are correct as I seem to have a "samples folder" and an "instrument folder" which when open shows all the instrument folders again! Is this correct? I followed install to a t!

Yes I right click on the EWQLO icon and it says set product directory library and gives me a list of all the files shown in pic. I am just not getting how to assign folders to samples..

Thank you for the help, much appreciated.

Yes, those are the correct folders. The browser uses the instruments but the instruments load the samples. i.e. you don't load the samples directly yourself. Make sure you are assigning those items in the lower left panel to the "Instruments" folder, not the samples folder. If you manually created a folder to install to you might have screwed up the link between the instruments and their related samples. My structure is East West / Platinum Samples / Platinum Brass for the samples and East West / Platinum Instruments / Platinum Brass, etc for the instruments. It's this one you should set as your root folder for each section. I can move mine around and simply reassign the lower left pane and never get any problems.

The other thing you can try when you get the error message is navigate to the relevane sample folder it is requesting. It might remember that and link it correctly in the future. But make sure you navigate to the correct Samples folder, not Instrument folder.

Got it working..
I deleted the directory and reloaded the instrument folder only and it now works..
I was loading everything, which was the mistake, like you said.
Thank you for your help and your time. :)
Kind regards
