from the IK sonicsynth2 FAQ:
Can I use Sonik Synth 2 on multiple computers?
Once registered, IK Multimedia provides the end-user 3 authorization codes with no hassle, in case you change or reformat your computer or you use the product on multiple computers that you own. Just log into you account and request a new code. Its that easy.
I think this is true for all their products, but I would check with them before a major purchase. They likely don't care what logo is on the computer case

Once you do three installs/registrations, you have to ask them for permission to keep using what you paid for. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it takes a lot of effort from the customer, but in the end, you should get new registrations when their superpowers reveal that you are a legal customer.

This is correct - if you've used up your authorizations, you'll have to contact support through your User Area. We're known for being very good about this, but obviously we have to verify some things. Thanks!glokraw wrote:Once you do three installs/registrations, you have to ask them for permission to keep using what you paid for. Due to the current group-buy, around 12000 IK/Amplitube products are getting processed, not counting other international sales, not counting normal ongoing processing as users
upgrade or add to their computer setup. Thats a lot of numbers to memorize!
